Introverts are given the most attention: Ryohei loses it

Fidelis was finishing up some daily paperwork in his office, it was about the right time of the day so he kicked off of his desk and his chair slid over to the large window over looking the training field, he turned it so that he could watch the students practising their abilities this he always enjoyed doing in his morning routine.

He watched as some of the more veteran students went up first, this was done in order to set the example for the newer students to the academy, soon they made their way through the students then they were allowed to do as they pleased. Most of them took this opportunity to converse and socialize, though Fidelis' eye caught on one that was moving away from the others. Was this an anti-social student?

Fidelis decided to ask about him, he spotted one of the teachers watching over the students and chose him to talk to. Koru, I want to ask about one of your students out in the training field, the blonde male who has walked away from the other students.

The teacher could be seen lookign around until he spotted him then gave his response. Ah yes that would be Ryohei Sakuraba what is it you wish to know about him?

Does he have any problems being social at all?

Well.... to be honest sir we usually see him on his own and he can be a bit,,, harsh on students that try to approach him. he pushes them away all the time. A silence fell now as Fidelis stood up and shoved his chair sending it back to the desk which he would walk by, opening a drawer and taking out a paper with a list of names he would add Ryohei's to it before placing it back into the drawer and leaving his office, on his way to the training field.

In contrast to the headmaster's apparent concern for him, Ryohei himself could care less for his lack of a social life, preferring, he tells himself, to stick to the sidelines, spending his time away from others, either perfecting his abilities, or listening to good music. On occasion he does both, as the music helps him focus and use his abilities better. Slipping the earphones onto his ears, he begins to tap his foot to a beat, flicking his wrist to deposit one of his pins into his hand. Looking at it, he nods. "Pyrokinesis, huh?" He holds up the pin, closing his eyes.

Open up your senses...

He opens his eyes, a ball of blazing red flames appearing above his hand, about the size of a basketball. The youth stares it it, sending it in a meandering course about him, ending in a quick figure eight in front of him before returning it to his hand,releasing his focus and letting the flames die. He reattaches the pin to his sweatband, looking up just in time to see the Headmaster enter the training field. This wasn't something that happened incredibly often, though it wasn't unheard of, so he simply returns to business as usual, this time selecting the Shockwave pin, watching as a shimmering blade extends from his wrist, examining it, touching it and testing its strength before moving and beginning to go through some simple combat maneuvers.

Fidelis watches closely as he makes his way towards the child students seemed to start paying attention, the appearance of the headmaster was grim news to the newer students though the more veteran knew his actions well enough to understand what he was doing. He saw fire blazing around the boy, under his control, was that his ability? To manipulate fire? Igniel might have to teach this kid some things, though he seemed to put something away and pull another of that object out. A pin? A blade appeared out of it, so there was something different for each pin.

He stopped a bit away from him and simply watched him go through some basic strikes, the boy wasn't very bad how long has he been attending? He pulled out Lubricus and blocked the boy's blade in the middle of a swing.

Ryohei looks up as the shockwave of contact travels up his arm, causing him to grit his teeth in discomfort. He releases his focus, letting the blade shimmer out of existence, the pin returned once more to his sweatband as he bows slightly to the Headmaster who had apparently chosen to get involved with his training somehow... this was unexpected, and possibly a bit annoying, but he could live with it, if it could be useful.

"Headmaster... My apologies, I did not expect you to..." how to say it without being rude... eh, screw it, worst that could happen for it was detention. "Well, I didn't expect an interruption of my training, sir, or I would have stopped. Is there something wrong, sir?"

He stared at the boy for a second, indeed he was a bit rude but this was something to be ignored for now. He lowered his blade now and held it at his side. "Merely testing the strength of your arm and the durability of that blade, it didn't break against my own. However the strength in that swing seemed slightly lacking." He looked down at the slightly shorter kid. "Interesting ability you have there. Pins that have their own ability within them and I see multiple of them on your being."

He nods, shaking out the sweatband on which his pins reside. "Yes, sir. I call them the Reaper's Pins, and you're right, they all have their own power... though none of them are all that powerful." he shrugs, considering what the Headmaster had said. "I haven't been training my strength for long, sir, I've mostly focused on learning to control my Pins better."

He still hasn't removed those headphones, though he seems fully capable of hearing even with them on, either that or he's rather proficient at reading lips. "Honestly, I'm not that interesting, sir... there are others that are much moreso than I."

"Perhaps" He said as he turned to look at the other students, many of the ones watching attempting to look casual so as not to give away the fact they are at current gossiping. He turned to Ryohei, though. "But you still have more of my interest, to be honest." It was visible he didn't want him to stay. "So for now don't let me stop you from practising that control. If it makes you nervous then it's only going to aid the training. What other abilities are in those pins of yours?"

Ryohei sighs, nodding. "Yes, sir." He figures he might as well get the descriptions over with. "You've already seen Pyrokinesis and Shockwave, and can probably guess what they do... Pyrokinesis lets me create and control a ball of fire like you saw, and Shockwave makes a blade out of kinetic force."

"I also have four others: Force Rounds, that does... basically exactly what it sounds like. Psychokinsis, which lets me... throw things, basically. Thunderbolt lets me shoot a sort of chain lightning at things, and I have this blank pin that's... complicated. I also have a pin that lets me read minds, but... I can't pull it off on anyone here, their minds are too strong."

"Quite the variety." Fidelis was curious about the so called blank pin though. "I'd like to hear about the blank pin, though. Even if it is complicated I have time to listen to the explanation." Though blank made it sound like it had no ability, was he able to imprint abilities onto them or something? Or was it just different from the others and he only could call it blank?

He sighs, shaking his head slowly. "If you'd like." He reaches into a pocket for the only pin he doesn't keep ready to use at a moment's notice, lightly throwing it underhand toward the Archangel. "It's useless. Only works when I fight with a partner, and other people are nothing but trouble." An annoyed look passes his eyes, and he shrugs slightly. "Supposedly it's supposed to channel both of our power into an attack, but I hate people, so I can't get it to work."

The pin was tossed over to him, he easily caught it in his hand. "Is that so?" how ironic, then again he needs something to tell him to try and be more accepting of people. "What makes people so bad to be around?" His eyes turned from the pin to Ryohei once more.He hated people huh? That would be the path to the core of the problem to look into.

He shrugs, looking at his pins as if deciding what to practice with next, pulling the PK and Force Rounds pins from it and holding one in each hand. "People are stupid, and selfish, and liars, every one. Including me. I don't need friends, or other people... I've got my values... you all can keep your own." He flicks a wrist, sending a shower of leaves from a nearby tree flying into the air, raising his other hand, now glowing gold, and beginning to fire off blasts into them.

He was able to use two of them as well. People were liars, he even believed this about himself as well. Fidelis looked over at the other students seemed the talking died down and they had all ended up practising their abilities now. For now Fidelis had given enough time to Ryohei, for today anyway. These things have to be taken slowly and are a gradual thing. He left his first mark for now. He'd see him tomorrow though, that was for sure. "Feeling like that, well if that is what you think who am I to argue? Train diligently, kid." He began to walk away from the boy now.

Ryohei nods, returning to his insular self and continueing his training, moving on to other pins...

--Time Passes: 1st Period - 2nd Day--

Earphones blaring, Ryohei takes his seat at the back of the class, at least two desks from anyone else. He produces his textbook, opening it up and tuning out the rest of the class, beginning to read through it silently. Demon Studies... Eh, not boring, at least... No chance of being put into groups. he leafs through the thick tome, eyes tracing out the figures and details of the types of demons stored within.

Fidelis was merely going to the classroom to observe the fairly new teacher as she worked, to see how well she was doing her job. He had not sent prior notice and left it a surprise for her. He was just outside the classroom now, walking up to the door. He wouldn't be noticed until he was actually inside the classroom. Hopefully his surprise visit didn't throw her off. He opened the door and stepped inside.

Ryohei looks up as the door opens again... a late student? no... Oh hell... is the archangel STALKING him or something? Two visits by the headmaster in as many days... This was going to be annoying. If that guy sits next to him...

Fidelis walked over to the teacher now and gave her a greeting, the teacher was obviously worried about his sudden appearance asking if anything had happened, he calmly explained his only reason for being here was an evaluation of her in the class room. After which he moved to stand in the back where he wouldn't draw any eyes as the teacher went on, though he noticed Ryohei now. The kid had this class now huh? This was noted but for now he id act as if he had noticed Ryohei.

Well, at least he was keeping his distance. Ryohei reaches up to adjust the volume of his headphones, going back to reading the textbook with a bored expression on his face, though if one looks close enough they can see genuine interest in his eyes for learning what he could learn, hidden under his impassive exterior. He simply doesn't like people, it seems, and is perfectly willing to get the job done without them if possible.

For now Fidelis left his focus on the teacher, though she seemed a bit nervous now. She must simply be nervous that she is now going to have to give a good impression on him, she must enjoy her job to be so worried about this. The enthusiastic were always good at what they wanted to do. He saw her glance over and gave her a smile to reassure her, this seemed to work as she calmed a bit and spoke quite easily to her students. Yes she was impressive with her display so now his attention was off of her and he started examining the students of the class room. Seeing if there were any that needed certain attention given to them, only ryohei by the looks of it.

Ryohei looked very interested in what he was reading, demon studies. Well not the first thing he would recommend but they would always need angels ready to fight demons. Slowly he walked over to a spot behind Ryohei, at a good enough angle to see over his shoulder at what he was reading. Different kinds of demons, did the book have information on arc demons? That would be interesting if at least covered the basics about arc demons.

"You know, you can probably get this book at the library if you wanted to read it." Ryohei whispers, just loud enough for the Archangel to hear him, though not the rest of the class. He then returns to his book, turning the page again. he pulls out a pencil, underlining certain passages... oddly enough, most of them have to do with demonic energy itself, not the demons. He makes a quick note in the margin about something or other, two small and untidy to be read easily, turning the page again. Eventually, he would indeed reach a page which covers the Archdemons, though it would be rather scarce on information, simply telling that they are the most powerful demons in that blasted place, and that most angels should steer well clear of them.

Unsurprisingly the boy had noticed his approach. It wasn't so much the book Fidelis was interested in, it was more just what the boy was focusing on. Demonic energy? That was unusual for someone to focus on. The kid was making notes in his book, small notes that Fidelis couldn't read. Then again it's probably already invasion of privacy.

"Well I see you take studying seriously, when it comes to what interests you the most especially so. What is it that interests you about energy?" Demonic energy especially.

He looks up, sighing as he closes the book in front of him. No use messing with it now. "What has the Headmaster of the academy just happen to show up in two of my classes and start talking to me two days in a row, if you don't mind me asking? As for why I'm researching demonic energy... if you don't know what the energy you're up against is, you can't well destroy it, right?" This wasn't a lie... but neither was it the whole truth. Get out of my face! I don't want to deal with any more shit than I already am.

"Well today you just happened to be in this class at the right time. The teacher is fairly new and I was simply here to evaluate her as a teacher. The fact that you are here was just coincidence. Yesterday you simply caught my eye. Is there still a problem?" This was the honest truth of things. The kid just had bad luck today. "Yeah indeed knowledge helps one fight their enemy." Yet there is more than just energy to a demon. He shrugged now. "But I don't know if that means much coming from the headmaster of a school." Yet at one point he did have to kill a powerful demon, this was before he was appointed to his current position.

He sighs, turning in his seat to face him. "I see. So it's just a rather unlikely coincidence... I suppose that's better than you stalking me or something." He folds his arms, looking back at the teacher... she wasn't stopping them, probably because she assumes that the Headmaster has good reasons. what I wouldn't give for just once, a teacher to get on me about talking...

He shakes his head slowly. "You can't get as powerful as you are without having to fight, so I guess your judgement on that is alright." He sighs, reaching up and adjusting his headphones a bit. "Anything we need to talk about, or can I get back to my studying?"

"Heh. I assume you study well enough to be ahead of the class. But I suppose that is enough distraction for now." Fidelis took a step back from Ryohei now. You don't get as strong as him without fighting, yeah that was definitely true. but Fidelis didn't want to think about all that. Of a time he would rather forget. For now he stepped back a bit and watched as the teacher continued her lesson, Using his telepathic ability to commune to her when students weren't paying attention, she would regain their attention as a result as much as they didn't like this they needed to learn that there was a time and place for everything.

All the while he was observing all the students closely seeing any personalities tat required adjustment in how they are treated. So far the only case that seemed worrisome was the anti-social Ryohei. What was with the focus on demonic energy though? Hopefully something that wouldn't need to be worried over. The teacher's lesson ended and he decided to move up to the front of the class now the teacher allowing him to say something. "If any of you have training and defense next I hope you enjoy as I will be instructing in place of your regular teacher."
